On January 31, 2005, a capacity crowd of 18,000 concert-goers filled Vancouver's GM Place for a benefit concert featuring Avril Lavigne, Sarah McLachlan, Delerium, Chantal Kreviazuk, Raine Maida, Sum 41 and the Barenaked Ladies.

The show raised almost $3 million to support relief efforts in South Asia. War Child Canada was one of the beneficiaries of the event. Funds raised were used to support War Child Canada's Sri Lanka Rehabilitation Project.
